The Scotian Shores
Clean Up Project
Cleaning the shorelines of Nova Scotia (Mi’kma’ki)
We commit ourselves to cleaning Nova Scotia's shorelines, creating awareness of the plastic pollution crisis and connecting us all so we can make a bigger difference. Our collaborative data shows OVER ONE MILLION POUNDS of shoreline debris has been removed since August 2020! The best way to support us is to participate in a shoreline cleanup. Follow us on our socials to see our group events!
Another way to help support our initiatives is financially supporting us by sending an e-transfer to scotianshores@gmail.com or by purchasing a locally made, repurposed item.

We would like to acknowledge we clean and conduct our activities on the sacred land that is Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People, and we acknowledge them as the past, present, and future caretakers of this land.
We are all Earth's children and work towards a common goal of protecting our Mother.
Thank you for being part of the solution
In the Summer of 2020 we started our journey of making the Shorelines of Nova Scotia a little cleaner while creating awareness of the ocean's plastic crisis. Over the last four years our reach has grown from one caring individual into a community of good humans helping to inspire others to join! Every day our team is growing. Our team of #OceanWarriors, many other clean up groups in Nova Scotia and the large scale clean ups we organize have helped remove over ONE MILLION POUNDS of debris from the shorelines! 2024 is looking bright and we see lots of adventures in our future! Our collective data is sent to many places in hopes to create change and awareness.
The money raised from the sales of our locally made products goes towards funding more clean up efforts, awareness projects, purchasing clean up equipment and more!
